Welcome to Herston's Barbershop, established in 2022.

1172 Portage Lakes Drive has been the home of Herston Cleaners since 1947-2021 and was founded by my great grandmother Nell Herston. It was a family legacy passed down generation after generation for many decades. Over the past 16 years, I have put my heart and soul into the cleaning business.

Unfortunately, after the COVID-19 pandemic, the dry cleaning industry was no longer sustainable. I faced a tough decision to shut down a family legacy near and dear to my heart. It has been a tough year, but with a lot of hard work, God's grace, and mercy, I would like to announce the official opening of Herston's Barbershop in the same location.

The barbershop is the beginning of a new legacy. It was essential to change the business plan and continue providing service to the local community. May 21, 2022, will be the reopening of the space signifying one year to date that I shut down Herston Dry Cleaners. I'm dedicating this opening to my father, Jack Wade Herston, for teaching me everything I know about hard work, dedication, and entrepreneurship.
